The Medford Area Public School District offers four-year-old kindergarten and early childhood special education programming for students. Students must be at least 4 years of age by September 1 of a given year to enroll in our program. Our classrooms each have one full time teacher and one paraprofessional for approximately 18 to 20 students. There are student computers in each classroom. Students receive a healthy breakfast and lunch as part of the program.
Our early childhood special education program offers half-day programming for three and four-year-old students with identified disabilities. Preschool Options is also offered for students with disabilities so they have maximum participation in the least restrictive environment, while still receiving individualized or small group instruction extra support.
